First 10 things to do after setting up your site:

  1. Explore the "getting started" guide and help manual. You can even print it out. Manual
  2. Enter your organization's information in the profile manager. This helps customize the site to your church.
  3. Choose a look and feel from the Design manager. You have hundreds of designs to choose from. Have fun.
  4. Explore the Pages manager (the heart and soul of the e-z system)
  5. Double click on the home page, open it and add some text.
  6. Preview the page to see what it looks like. (Click on the yellow magnifying glass button in the upper right hand corner of the page.)
  7. Add a picture to your home page. (Don't forget to explore the image gallery which includes stock photography and United Methodist images.)
  8. Add a new page, adding text and images. Watch how the new page is displayed in the home page navigation.
  9. Explore the other managers.
  10. Plan and build your site. This will take some thinking and strategic planning, but it is well worth the effort.
